Privacy and Data Processing Policy

K9kit take customer security and privacy very seriously. The GDPR lawful basis for us to collect and process personal data supplied by a customer is under Contract as that data is necessary to fulfil our contractual obligations to that customer. The data we collect is provided by that customer whilst setting up a customer record on the K9kit website. We will retain personal data provided to allow a customer to make purchases on our website without having to set up a new record each time however a customer can request their personal data to be deleted by contacting office@k9kit.com to request deletion if they no longer wish to remain a customer.

We use secure payment processing services for customer payments and will need to share customer provided personal information with these processing services to allow that customer to make secure payment for their purchases. The information shared for this purpose is only that which is necessary for them to have as part of the banking industry secure checks involved in the payment process. We do not receive any personal financial information about the customer. No personal data is transferred outside the European Union.

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over an SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted.

We will not sell on or disclose customer personal information to any party not necessarily involved with the customer transaction unless specifically in response to direction from legal authorities.
